I promise this will be the last day of shameless self-promotion for at least this week but I had to let you know my new mystery novel, QR Code Killer, is available on Kindle for free today through Saturday.

If you like murder, suspense, mystery and mayhem with a little romance through into the mix, I hope you’ll check this out. It stretched me way outside my comfort zone of the sparkly pink sunshiny world in my head, but stretching is a good thing.

Check it out and let me know what you think!

I’ve got two new books hot off the press I wanted to share with you today!  Check them out and let me know what you think!

The Cowboy’s Spring Romance – Trent Thompson has carried a torch for the new schoolteacher since she moved to Grass Valley more than three years ago. Instead of asking her out, he’s dated every single female in a 30-mile radius, giving her the impression he’s not interested in her at all. Lindsay Pierce moved to Grass Valley to teach and quickly fell in love with the small community as well as the delightful people who live there. Everyone welcomes her warmly except for one obnoxious cowboy who goes out of his way to ignore her. Will Trent be able to maintain the pretense when he has to babysit his niece, who happens to be in Lindsay’s class? Find out if romance will blossom along with the first flowers of spring.

Social Media is going to be the cause of my demise.

First it was Facebook and Twitter followed by LinkedIn.

Then I gut sucked into Pinterest and thought I might never get out alive.

Now I’m really in trouble. Big trouble.

I found Polyvore.

For those of you who like to be creative, have a penchant for fashion or like home decor, you are going to love (LOVE) this site. You can drag and drop clothing, backdrops, furniture, just about everything and anything you can imagine onto a “blank” canvas and create outfits, rooms, all kinds of fabulous and marvelous things.

I’m officially a goner.

I’ve only been playing on it since last weekend, but it is so much fun.

You can do stuff like this:

So you pick out the fashion pieces you like, arrange them however you want, add whatever accents tickle your fancy and then you can share it with others. Being someone who likes clothes and creativity, I can’t begin to tell you how this entertains me so.

Although I have only spent a few minutes being crazy with the home decor stuff, it looks like it could be a time-consuming wonderment, too.

I agree the pink room is a little much, but it was fun to put together.

Years ago I did some serious damage to my foot that resulted in some really painful spells of arthritis.

Due to that fact, I got rid of all my cute shoes and soon found my closet full of things like this:

Blah, bleck, boring – but they were comfortable.

Then one day, I woke up and realized I was tired of blah, bleck, boring shoes and went skipping down an entirely new path.

I’m so glad I did!

And, according to Captain Cavedweller, I’ve become a cute-shoe addict.

I can’t help it. Like chocolate, I spent too many years without any!

So the other day, I was quickly flipping through a website and these screamed out to me.

I couldn’t ignore their pleading for me to own them, so I thought about it for approximately 16.5 seconds before I bought them. They are so cute, so fun and I absolutely love them. I got them from Modcloth.com

Even CC agreed they were pretty cute shoes – for an up and coming shoe addict.
